A couple of years ago I did some crude modding of an old kit-lens I had laying around. By removing the whole front element and the focusing barrel it became an extreme zoomable macro lens.
Coupled with my Sony A7RII it even cover the whole full frame sensor.
The flower is about 1,5 cm across.. to give some perspective of the focusing distance here.

Trying out my modded Helios 44/2. Rear lens reverse mod. A bit hard to focus, not quite satisfied with infinity focus gone but I can work with this. Very interesting results!
